  1. Painting with Acrylics

Join a local artist to receive step by step instruction and personal attention that will result in you taking home your very own painting masterpiece! Ages 15+ are welcome. No previous experience required and all supplies will be provided. This will only cost you $35 for Members, $40 for Non-members. This will happen every Saturday, the dates are July 22 and August 26. The venue will be at Kroc Center 1833 Broad Street 30903 Augusta, Georgia.

  1. MACH Academy Tennis and Fitness

Want to learn the game of tennis, then come play with us!! This program is Wednesday and Thursday 5pm-7pm and Saturday 11am – 1pm at Diamond Lakes Tennis Center. The program is suitable for ages 6-18. The cost is only $100 per month. Come prepared to have lots of fun, make new friends, and enjoy tennis instruction, games, and fitness activities. This program is funded in part through the USTA Southern Play it Forward Grant and MACH Academy, Inc. This will cost you $100/month for all ages. Old School night with DJ Mighty Mike. Come out and put you dancing shoes and party like its 1999 every Saturday Night!!. Drink and Food SPECIALS ALL NIGHT!! This will go through all Saturdays of July and and 2 first Saturdays of August. This will only cost you $5 and they are inviting 21 yrs old and above to join this event.   1. 100 Women in Red and 100 Men in Black

presented by the Happy Home Baptist Women of Excellence and Men of Integrity; guest ministers Dewann and Valerie Smith of St. Mark Baptist Church; (803) 584-4281. This is organized by Happy Home Baptist Church. This will happen on Sunday, July 23, 2017 – 2:30 pm at Happy Home Baptist Church 336 Railroad Ave. W. 29810 Allendale, South Carolina.

 

  1. GratitudeAmerica to Host Fourth Annual Fundraising Golf Tournament on July 24

GratitudeAmerica, a non-profit organization that supports military service members, veterans and their families, will be hosting its fourth annual fundraising golf tournament on Monday, July 24 at the Harbor Club at Lake Oconee, Ga. Proceeds from the event will benefit veterans and their families.

Tournament attendees will be treated to a first-class golf experience including a chance to win $10,000 in prizes, complimentary beverages, lunch and dinner, pre-tournament patriotic spectacle and a Ralph Lauren golf shirt. The cost to enter the tournament is $350 per player or $1,000 per team. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. and a shotgun start promptly at noon.

Following the tournament, golfers will be treated to a wonderful dinner at the Harbor Club as well as a raffle, awards presentation, and silent auction valued at tens of thousands of dollars. The dinner and prize giveaway will begin at 5:30 p.m. sharp and will include an open bar.

“We’re thrilled to bring back this world class event for a fourth year and to partner with renowned brands such as Delta Air Lines and Coca-Cola,” said Michael Anthony, executive director of GratitudeAmerica, Inc. “It is only with help from the community that we can continue to provide support to our veterans and their families.”

The GratitudeAmerica annual fundraising golf tournament is made possible by the generosity of individuals and corporations. In addition to tournament tickets, GratitudeAmerica will be selling different level sponsorships for anyone interested in advertising their company. There are 11 different sponsorship options that range in price and benefits from the Hole Signage Sponsor at $100 to the Gold Sponsor package at $10,000. This is for all ages, and will cost you $350 per player or $1,000 per team. This fund raising will be on Monday July 24th. The Monthly Augusta Community Prayer Breakfast will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Vineyard Church of Augusta, 3126 Parrish Road, Augusta, GA 30907. Prayer begins at 8 AM with breakfast following at 9 AM. Please join our host, Pastor Reese LeRoy in prayer, thanksgiving, and intercession for this special time seeking the healing, restoration and blessing of the Augusta Community.
