Augusta offers many other ways to enjoy our increasingly diverse and lively city with a full calendar of music and arts events, outdoor guided hikes, bike tours, Master’s Week, and family friendly things to do. See below for fun weekly, monthly and annual Augusta events and festivals.
Enjoy live music and shop from local vendors along Broad Street and in the Augusta Common.  Discover local restaurants, galleries, retail stores and nightlife.  Many downtown businesses have First Friday specials.
An evening of art and entertainment.  Watercolors, oils, acrylics, photography, pottery, fiber arts,  jewelry and mixed media on display and for sale. This will be from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM Recurring monthly on the 1st Friday, for more info visit their website http://www.artistguildcc.org/
Christmas is approaching, you might want to experience and visit The Augusta Market at the River , Recurring weekly on Saturday until November 25, 2017. Every Saturday at the 8th Street Bulkhead come and explore hand made art, jewelry and crafts, local produce and baked goods and enjoy breakfast and coffee or lunch from local food vendors. Musicians from Augusta’s River Region set the mood with live music. Runners can meet for a morning run with the Triple 8 Run Group. During warm weather, kids can play in the fountain. Pets on a leash are welcome.
Another one to look forward to is the Augusta Canal National Heritage Area that will be on November 11, 2017. A celebration of ALL things outdoors at the Augusta Canal! Last year’s Augusta Canal 2016 “Find Your Park” Festival was such a success that everyone asked us to do it again. So we are! This year we’ve renamed it the “Canal Fest.” This is Augusta’s chance to gather in our fabulous park, and celebrate all our canal and community have to offer together! We’re planning a full day of family fun, fresh air, fitness, and food. The Canal Fest includes races, tours, haunted trolley tours, sports demonstrations, live music, pet costume contest and much more.  We expect thousands to attend. We want to provide this to the River Region as a free event. Proceeds will support the Augusta Canal NHA recreation and education programs.

Featuring musical performances by Bethany & the Southside Boys AND Eryn Eubanks & the Family Fold!

Also, performance by local youth groups such as the Augusta Junior Players and the DFA Jazz Band!

The Kroc Playground will be filled with kids activities! Learn how to fish with Project Healing Waters & Heroes on the Water. Bike Agility by Wheel Movement, kayaking, pet agility and more!

If you wanna be in the loop just stay tune as we give you happenings like this in the coming days!
